MyHealthPEI Overview

Background information and key features

Background

The Health PEI project provides a solution referred to as MyHealthPEI which will allow Prince Edward Islanders access to view, store and manage their own health information. The web-based portal will allow users to view their own clinical health information such as lab test results, immunization records and diagnostic imaging reports. Citizens can also record, track and monitor items such as height and weight, blood sugar, allergies, medical procedures, and more.

MyHealthPEI is also a trusted source of quality consumer health information and decision tools that have been developed for the citizens of Prince Edward Island to use.

The Health PEI initiative helps Prince Edward Islanders make decisions about staying well, finding information about programs and services, accessing the health system and managing personal health conditions. MyHealthPEI utilizes a solution built and hosted by TELUS Health.

eHealth Support Services

The eHealth Support Desk team (eHealth Tier1) will provide initial end-user or Tier 1 support to MyHealthPEI users. MyHealthPEI users will have the ability to call the eHealth Tier 1 team, raise support requests and have questions or issues addressed regarding their personal health information in their MyHealthPEI.

Users will be able to create and access their MyHealthPEI accounts with their verified driver license or PEI Voluntary ID card.

The eHealth Tier 1 team will continue to provide help desk support with the intention of resolving the majority of calls upon first receipt. If the issue or question reported cannot be resolved by the eHealth Tier 1 team it will be triaged and tracked to other Tier 2 support teams and TELUS Health as required.
